1992

The Palletline network is launched

Palletline, the first pallet network in the UK is launched. Using the innovative 'hub and spoke' model, the network becomes the first distribution network dedicated to the movement of palletised freight.

1994

Palletline becomes fully shareholder owned

Palletline's founding members change the network ownership model to a 100% shareholder owned business.

2001

Palletline introduces regional hubs

Palletline launches its multi-hub model with the opening of several regional hubs to reduce mileage and further increase efficiency.

2002

Palletline wins first MT Award

The network wins its first prestigious Motor Transport Award; ‘Efficiency in Operation’ and a Special Recognition Award for our vision that changed an industry.

2004

Palletline London launches

A new site in Greenford houses Palletline’s first wholly-owned commercial depot serving the London area, and provides a new location, with excellent road links for Palletline’s Southern Hub, channelling Palletline traffic into and out of London and the South East.

2009

Palletline achieves ISO accreditations

Palletline becomes the first Pallet Network to achieve the hat trick of quality, safety and environmental accreditations and is awarded ISO 14001 alongside existing accreditations ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.

Palletline launches new European services

Palletline launches its new European service, enabling the network to provide a quality and reliable service to 30 countries.

2015

Palletline acquires S&S Distribution

The Kent-based haulage firm is the second business to join the Palletline Logistics group, as the founders of this family-owned business retire.

Additionally, Palletline becomes the first Network to reduce weight limits with the launch of ‘Lift Assist’. The first network to reduce the maximum weight of pallets on tail lift deliveries to 750kg.

Palletline acquires MWT

Palletline acquires Hampshire-based Mike Watson Transport, adding to its growing Logistics portfolio.

Additionally, Palletline becomes the first Network to reduce weight limits with the launch of ‘Lift Assist’. The first network to reduce the maximum weight of pallets on tail lift deliveries to 750kg.

Palletline acquires ABE (Ledbury)

Palletline acquires long-standing member, Fast Forward Distribution, as owners Mark and Anne Henness retire from the Llannelli-based site after 30 years in business.

Palletline acquires long-standing member, Fast Forward Distribution, as owners Mark and Anne Henness retire from the Llannelli-based site after 30 years in business.

Palletline acquire overnight delivery operation from PF Whitehead

Palletline Whitehead is the sixth business to be acquired by Palletline Logistics as PF Whitehead Logistics look to focus on core services.

Additionally, the network wins its ninth consecutive gold at the RoSPA Awards for its exemplary approach to health and safety.
